Ventura Raceway ran its fourth race of the 2019 season Saturday night April 20th. On a cool, overcast evening the drivers in four car classes and three motorcycle classes were on hand to continue the season long points battle in each class. Fans in attendance witnessed exciting racing in every class from the opening heats to the final main events.

On a beautiful, cool night Ventura Raceway got back to racing after a two week layoff. With six classes in attendance the fans were in for a great night of racing action.Nineteen VRA Sprint Cars signed into the pits to battle for points in the season long point battle. They then ran two heat races with wins going to Kyle Smith in heat one and Ricky Lewis in heat two. The 30 lap main event went to Rick Hendrix who led all 30 laps to take the win over Bruce Douglass, Tanner Boul, Kyle Smith and Tyler Williams. After three races in the new season, Rick Hendrix leads Charlie Butcher by 65 points.

Saturday night September 25th, saw the third ARP Battle At the Beach USAC/VRA 360 race of 2018. This race series, which will crown the King of the Beach in November at the Turkey Night Grand Prix, is always a top notch event featuring the best in 360 sprint car drivers going for the very special Battle at the Beach trophy awarded at each event. Also on hand Saturday night were the IMCA Modifieds, VRA Senior Sprints, VRA Dwarf Cars, NMRA TQ Midgets and VRA Hobby Stocks.

The 2018 Ventura County Fair Motorsports event was run in front of a full house on Wednesday, evening August 1st. The fans in attendance witnessed exciting racing and a few crashes throughout the evening.

After two weeks of back-to-back racing, race fans were kept entertained with the variety of divisions that were on hand both June 30th and July 7th. Warm weather kept the track in perfect condition for all racers on the 1/5 mile at Ventura Raceway.

On a beautiful, warm Saturday night, a large crowd witnessed some very exciting short track racing on Ventura Raceway's 1/5 mile oval. The featured event was the first ARP Battle At the Beach USAC/VRA 360 race of 2018. This race series, which will crown the King of the Beach in November at the Turkey Night Grand Prix, is always a top notch event featuring the best in 360 sprint car drivers going for the very special Battle at the Beach trophy awarded at each event. Also on hand Saturday night were the IMCA Modifieds, Senior Sprints, VRA Dwarf Cars and Focus Midgets.

Ventura Raceway's 2018 season resumed Saturday night June 2, with a full program of exciting short track racing. The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition all night long from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Sprint Cars, VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Hobby Stocks, VRA Senior Sprints and IMCA Modifieds were on hand for a night of very competitive racing action.

The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Hobby Stocks, VRA Focus. IMCA Modifieds and the VRA Sprint Cars, who opened their 2018 season, were on hand to compete for points in the new season.
