March 23rd – Battle of the Beach #1 – USAC/VRA 360 Sprint Cars, Dwarf Cars, Senior Sprints and California Lightning Sprints.
This Saturday, March 23rd, is our first Battle of the Beach Race for the 2019 season. There are four races in total this season in this special point series, which ends on Turkey Night in November at Ventura Raceway. We are looking forward to all the big names in 360 Sprint Cars as they compete in this popular event.
Last week, we had our first race of the season that included the 250/450 Motocross and Pit Bikes in the 100 and 125 classes. They were a huge hit and they all enjoyed being integrated into the race car program. They will return on April 20th. Come check them out!
Pits open at noon, Grandstands at 3pm. Adults $15, Senior, Military and Students $11, Kids 12 and under are Free. Come join us for fun by the beach!
Saturday night September 25th, saw the third ARP Battle At the Beach USAC/VRA 360 race of 2018. This race series, which will crown the King of the Beach in November at the Turkey Night Grand Prix, is always a top notch event featuring the best in 360 sprint car drivers going for the very special Battle at the Beach trophy awarded at each event. Also on hand Saturday night were the IMCA Modifieds, VRA Senior Sprints, VRA Dwarf Cars, NMRA TQ Midgets and VRA Hobby Stocks.
The 2018 Ventura County Fair Motorsports event was run in front of a full house on Wednesday, evening August 1st. The fans in attendance witnessed exciting racing and a few crashes throughout the evening.
After two weeks of back-to-back racing, race fans were kept entertained with the variety of divisions that were on hand both June 30th and July 7th. Warm weather kept the track in perfect condition for all racers on the 1/5 mile at Ventura Raceway.
