/in Dwarf Cars, Focus, Hobby Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, Midgets, Senior Sprints, Sprint CarsOn a beautiful, cool night Ventura Raceway got back to racing after a two week layoff. With six classes in attendance the fans were in for a great night of racing action.Nineteen VRA Sprint Cars signed into the pits to battle for points in the season long point battle. They then ran two heat races with wins going to Kyle Smith in heat one and Ricky Lewis in heat two. The 30 lap main event went to Rick Hendrix who led all 30 laps to take the win over Bruce Douglass, Tanner Boul, Kyle Smith and Tyler Williams. After three races in the new season, Rick Hendrix leads Charlie Butcher by 65 points.

/in Cal Lightning Sprints, Dwarf Cars, Senior Sprints, Sprint CarsVentura Raceway continued its new 2019 season on a cool overcast night with the running of the first USAC/VRA ARP Battle at the Beach race for 360 Sprint Cars, Saturday night March 23rd. Four classes were on hand to put on an exciting night of racing for the fans in attendance.

/in UncategorizedVentura Raceway opened its new 2019 season on a cool, clear, breezy, Saturday night. Four car classes and three motorcycle classes were on hand to get the season underway. Fans in attendance were treated to some exciting racing as drivers began their season-long quest to see who will become track champions this year.

/in Dwarf Cars, Focus, Hobby Stocks, Midgets, UncategorizedSaturday, September 15th, saw the first appearance of the USAC Midgets at Ventura Raceway in 2018. On a beautiful Saturday night, race fans were treated to another night of exciting racing action. USAC Midgets, VRA Dwarf Cars, IMCA, VRA Focus and Senior Sprints were on hand to compete for points as the 2018 season winds down.

The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Sprint Cars, Dwarf Cars, Hobby Stocks, Focus Midgets and Senior Sprints were on hand to compete for points as the 2018 season winds down.
