Saturday night, July 7th, saw a full program of exciting short track racing at Ventura Raceway on a warm evening at the track. The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition all night long from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Sprint Cars, VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Focus Midgets and California Lightning Sprints were on hand for a night of very competitive racing action.

On a beautiful, warm Saturday night, a large crowd witnessed some very exciting short track racing on Ventura Raceway's 1/5 mile oval. The featured event was the first ARP Battle At the Beach USAC/VRA 360 race of 2018. This race series, which will crown the King of the Beach in November at the Turkey Night Grand Prix, is always a top notch event featuring the best in 360 sprint car drivers going for the very special Battle at the Beach trophy awarded at each event. Also on hand Saturday night were the IMCA Modifieds, Senior Sprints, VRA Dwarf Cars and Focus Midgets.

Ventura Raceway's 2018 season resumed Saturday night June 2, with a full program of exciting short track racing. The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition all night long from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Sprint Cars, VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Hobby Stocks, VRA Senior Sprints and IMCA Modifieds were on hand for a night of very competitive racing action.

On a cool, breezy Saturday night, May 5th, fans at Ventura Raceway were treated to a great night of short track racing, as the Amsoil USAC/CRA 410 Sprint Cars headlined the show. VRA Dwarf Cars and California Lightning Sprints were also there to complete a full night of exciting racing action.

Ventura Raceway's second night of racing action was another exciting night for all divisions. The fans in attendance saw close, hard fought competition from the opening heats to the final main events. VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Hobby Stocks, VRA Focus. IMCA Modifieds and the VRA Sprint Cars, who opened their 2018 season, were on hand to compete for points in the new season.

After over a month of delays due to weather and Fairgrounds activities, Ventura Raceway finally was able to begin its 2018 racing season. The delay in opening was worth the wait as six divisions put on a night of outstanding racing action for the good crowd in attendance. On a beautiful spring night, the drivers began their quest for points that will lead to series championships when the season ends in October.

Saturday night October 28, saw the return of the Light Up the World Beverages USAC Midgets to Ventura Raceway for their third visit of the season. Also on the card to end our regular season, were the VRA Dwarf Cars, VRA Senior Sprints, California Lightning Sprints and Focus Midgets. Racing was hard fought throughout the field of each class that competed Saturday night.

Fans at Ventura Raceway were witness to some very exciting racing action Saturday night, October 21st, with a full program of racing that featured the fourth and final HAAS Automation VRA Dwarf Car Silver Cup Race of 2017. The night also saw action in VRA Sprints, a special Greg and Maureen Kauffman Memorial VRA Hobby Stock race and a special IMCA Modified race.

Ventura Raceway held their next event on a beautiful Saturday night, October 7th, with the running of the Civil War Series between Northern California and Southern California Lightning Sprints. Also racing that night were the VRA Dwarf Cars, Focus Midgets and VRA Senior Sprints.
